MEET OUR PASTORS
Pastors Cody & Lonni Elliott
Cody and Lonni Elliott are passionate about helping people find joy, purpose, and a place to belong at Joy Church. They met in 2015 while working with kids in care at Hillcrest Children’s Home and have been serving side by side in ministry ever since. Cody is a 15-year youth ministry veteran and a graduate of Nelson University, and Lonni leads Arkansas’s foster care and prevention efforts with Compact Family Services. Together, they bring a mix of faith, fun, and heart to everything they do. They fell in love with Ironton and knew it was the place they wanted to plant roots, raise their family, and help others discover the joy of knowing Jesus.

Our Story
Joy Church began 86 years ago in the heart of a brush arbor revival—a simple gathering under the open sky where hearts were hungry for God. What started as a spark of faith has grown into a vibrant church committed to sharing the joy of Jesus both locally and globally. From those early revival days to now, we’ve never stopped reaching out, serving our community, and sending hope to the world. The methods may change, but the mission remains the same: everyone, everywhere, no matter what.
